My entry for the June/July Mysterious Photo Contest was published in Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine ("If a dog barks in the woods...") and since then, I have been pretty stoked on the idea of mystery flash fiction. So here is my question: can people guide me to other magazines or websites that publish short-short stories (less than 1000 words) in the mystery genre? Are some of those markets of a better quality than others? Besides the Mysterious Photo Contest, Does EQMM or AHMM publish flash fiction?
Thanks for your help!

Wow! Congrats! I'd sugest googling it and asking at your local bookstore or library. Some of the anthologies run (or ran) contests. National Public Radio runs a "three-minute fiction" contest occasionally. (Not sure about the minutes, may be two!) Gotta go! Gotta grab that AHMM and read your story!

Adam! Just read "If A Dog Barks In The Woods...?" Loved it! My brother has adopted a neglected dog, so the story really moved me. Congrats again!

The amazing John Floyd leaves me in awe. I've seen him sketch a story with half a dozen sentences.
