Recently, via Ebay I bought 20 volumes of "Masterpieces of Mystery selected by Ellery Queen" that were originally printed 1976-1978. I see from ads in EQMM from those years (also bought on Ebay) that this was a book club with monthly (?) volumes. The volumes are not numbered, though, although occasionally the introductions to them note which volume a specific one is ("This is the first volume," or, "In this, our third volume . . .") I'm wondering if I have a complete set. On Ebay there are a lot of vendors offering single volumes or small lots of volumes. I haven't seen anyone offer a set of more than 20.
Anyone know how many of these there were? If there are more than 20, I'll list the specific volume titles I have and others can contribute additional titles in the series.
