A: Robert Kesling, the author of our logic puzzles, has written a very informative booklet, "Solving the 'Unsolved,' " on how to solve the puzzles, which is available free on this web-site in Adobe Acrobat format at Solving the Unsolved. A printed copy is available for $1.50 (the cost of postage and handling). Send your check or money order to:

Q: Regarding the entries for the AHMM Mysterious Photograph Contest, do you have any guidelines? May I send in more than one entry? When are entries due? A: The AHMM Mysterious Photograph Contest is designed to stir our readers' imaginations; the challenge is to write a short-short story of 250 words or less about the photograph that involves a crime. You may send in more than one entry, and they are due about six weeks after your issues arrives, or before the next issue hits the newsstand.
